We’re Wolves Take a Step Up with New Single Titanium

We're Wolves Titanium

Werewolves: a human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction with the transformations occurring on the night of a full moon. We’re Wolves: a West Palm Beach rock band whose lead singer transforms into a screaming beast on stage at the sound of rhythmic metal guitars.

We’re Wolves exploded on the music scene in 2017 with a cover of Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff”.  The song’s video has amassed over 1.8 million YouTube views. It was a glimpse of things to come. Over the next four years they released their debut EP Hunger and several cover versions from bands including Drowning PoolDown With SicknessPapa RoachAvenged SevenfoldSlipknot, and Atreyu.

This time last year leader vocalist AJ Diaferio and his pack known as We’re Wolves had just released their debut album’ Evil Things, in which the band gave a musical interpretation of Dante’s Inferno. It was accompanied by a trio of macabre videos capable of scaring any sinner straight. After reviewing the album, I came away impressed by lead singer AJ Diaferio’s combination of earth-shattering screams and soaring melodic clean vocals. This was reinforced a few months later when I had the opportunity to see the band perform live at Kraken Fest in Orlando where they shared the staged with bands including The Used, Story of the Year, Anberlin, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

The band has kept busy over the last year tapping back into some of their influences by releasing cover versions of “Still Waiting” by Sum 41 and “One Step Closer” by Linkin Park. Now they are back with their first original music since Evil Things. “Titanium” and its accompanying video are set to be released on Dec 2, 2022. It is what fans would expect from the group, heavy verses and soaring melodic choruses. The video is toned down compared to previous songs. However, still present is the horror rock look but gone is the gore.

Lead vocalist Diaferio says, “Titanium is the beginning of our rebirth, it’s an opportunity for the band to showcase where we’ve been in the past and where we are headed in the future. There’s a lot of new energy, aggression, passion, and growth in this track. We knew coming off of Evil Things we had to come out SWINGING, just like we did with Wasteland. We knew this song would instantly connect with our core fanbase, and reintroduce what they love about our band. Our hope is that people love listening to it as much as we loved making it.”

AJ Diaferio is quickly becoming one of my favorite vocalists. “Titanium” is We’re Wolves best work to date. It is certainly SiriusXM Octane ready, so if you like the song be sure to share your opinion with Jose Mangin, Caity Babs and the crew to get the band some airplay.
