Rocket Monster have shared their new single “Out“. The Connecticut rock duo comprised of guitarist Will Brennan and drummer Logan Sidle released their debut album, Rocket Monster, in August 2022. On the album, the duo combined elements of blues rock, indie rock and punk.
In 2020, the duo weaponized Instagram and TikTok with scrappy appearances in backyards and junkyards, quickly earning supportive comments and direct messages from the diverse likes of Skrillex, Fred Durst, and Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers. Since then, the band has experienced a meteoric rise – gaining a combined social following of 500k and regularly garnering over 2M views per week on TikTok.
On the new single, the band shares: “‘Out’ explores the tipping point we all can reach at various times in life when we’ve suffered through enough deceit, betrayal, and emotional manipulation. The hulking, sinister riff lurks throughout the song as a reminder of the demons that drain life of all happiness unless they are completely and thoroughly driven OUT.”
“Out” can be streamed here.
