Veeps Launches Multi-Platform Concert Livestream App as Growth Skyrockets

If you binged concert livestreams during the lockdown (we know you did) — chances are some of them were through the streaming service Veeps. Though in-person events have since returned, livestreams remain a permanent staple in the world of music and entertainment. Can’t make your next concert? Last minute change of plans? Personal emergency? Don’t worry — there’s a chance you could buy a livestream ticket to the concert (or another date on the tour) and watch it later when life has stopped throwing you lemons. We also love this concept for those who want to experience a show with friends or loved ones around the world. With just a few clicks, everyone can view the same show together, regardless of their location. Post viewing is flexible as most shows are also available to watch up to a few days after the original stream.

Don’t be fooled though — Veeps has been ahead of the game for some time now. The company was founded back in 2016 by Joel and Benji Madden (Good Charlotte, MDDN) with co-founders Sherry Saeedi and Kyle Heller well before lockdown. It began by providing ticket add-ons for touring artists and serving up pre-show VIP experiences for avid fans. Fast forward six years later and Veeps has grown exponentially. Not only has Veeps expanded into an international digital platform, it was also recently acquired by Live Nation — opening the doors to a slew of future events. They are set to retrofit over 60 venues with the ability to handle turnkey livestreaming. We are so looking forward to this major cure for all of our future FOMO moments.

Veeps has previously hosted livestreams from iconic artists of all walks such as Bob Dylan (yes, really), Brandi Carlile, Jason Aldean, Bebe Rexha, A$AP Rocky, Incubus, and Liam Payne (One Direction), but doesn’t short on new, small scale artists either. There is equal inclusivity, so independent artists shouldn’t shy away if interested in utilizing the platform. Upcoming artist livestreams include Slash, Poppy, Kings of Leon, Pete Yorn, Galantis and more. Partnered venues include various House of Blues locations, Red Rocks, The Wiltern, Irving Plaza and more of your favorite nostalgic stages. For a full list of events, visit the Veeps site here.

All Veeps livestreams can be viewed from just about any device: phones, tablets, computers… even your TV. The app is available on iOS, Android, Apple TV and Roku TV. No TV apps? No problem. Livestreams can easily be broadcasted from browser to television without the app using AirPlay or Chromecast.
