On June 18th, 2021, Crashing Atlas released their new album, Black Sky Sunrise. I’ve been meaning to check out their debut album since it came out, and I regret waiting these past few weeks to do so. Basically, every track blew me away. I was not expecting the powerful vocals in songs such as “Kerosene” and “Wake Up.” The melody in “Monster” draws you in and makes you fall in love with the song as soon as you hear it. “The Only Ones” features Kellin Quinn and I love the dynamic vocals in the chorus. “Graveyard” is another surprising track, being a little bit darker and heavier than I was expecting. Black Sky Sunrise wraps up with “The Light,” an emotional track with a catchy guitar riff.
Even though this album isn’t too short, all the songs work together perfectly and they go by quickly. Now is definitely the time to check out Crashing Atlas before this band starts blowing up. Click here to stream the album and check out the band on social media.
