The current environment is flooded with waves of negativity.  It’s depressing just driving down a street seeing homeless people on the corner or turning on the television and hearing conflicting views depending on political ideology. Sometimes people need an escape and pick me up when feeling down. If you fall in this group, then there is a new feel good artist to pick you up.  Electro-indie artist Vacances has a new single, “Love Collapses” that will lift the spirits.

Of the single, Vacances shares, “’Love Collapse’ was an idea that I had floating around musically for the past 4 years. I had a crazy case a writer’s block after releasing my last EP and had moved to Mexico City to explore writing at a studio called Toy Factory. It was an incredible experience and I eventually came back to the states and tried a few different versions of it. It ended up getting to where it is today when I connected with William and Carl. This song is a testament to pushing through no matter what the challenge.”

Vacances was the brainchild of singer Danny Lannon formed at the conclusion of his previous endeavor The Frail. Vacances first singles “Runaway”, “Never Give Up”, and “Callin” have amassed close to 500,000 streams. Lannon has also performed at several music festivals including Treasure Island, Bottle Rock, SXSW and CMJ and shared the stage with Shiny Toy Guns, Fujiya & Miyagi, Passion Pit, Phantogram, Hot Chip

Vacances is an artist full of positive energy worth keeping an eye on in the future. His latest song “Love Collapse” can be streamed on Bandcamp here. The track will be also be featured on the upcoming Love Collapse EP.
