An Artist I Just Got Into: Senses Fail

I know, I know. They’ve been around for a while now and I’m a little late to the party. But hear me out. I have over 20,000 songs in my music library, so I just never really took the opportunity to check Senses Fail out. Until I photographed them recently. Then the game changed.

When I saw this band on tour with Bayside a couple weeks back, I knew I had to listen to them. The songs were all so catchy and energetic, and I really enjoyed how much energy the band carried on stage, especially their frontman, Buddy Nielsen. I was able to capture some great shots that night, and being so stoked about that made me want to listen to them even more.

Some songs that really stood out to me were “Bite to Break Skin”, “Buried a Lie”, “Bloody Romance”, and “Family Tradition”. I know that most of these could be considered their hits but they were the ones that stood out the most to me live and throughout listening to their discography.
