Album Review: Wayland – “Rinse and Repeat”

Add Wayland’s Rinse and Repeat to your shopping cart ASAP because this is an album you need in your collection. Their single “Through the Fire” has already been blasting everywhere for good reason: it’s very catchy song and will definitely be one of the more popular songs on this album. “All Rise” is one of my favorite songs on this album; it’s subtle, but has a really strong beat. This song also just resonates with me more than “Through the Fire.” The song that surprised me most on this album was “Shopping for a Savior.” It’s gritty, the hook is great, and I love the guitar in it. The part with the choir, though, just elevates this song above all of the rest on this album (as well as a lot of other songs I’ve listened to lately). Rinse and Repeat, out September 22, is a damn good rock n’ roll album.
