5 Things You Need To Know About The Fallen Electric

1. Who is The Fallen Electric?

The Fallen Electric is an Alternative Rock and Roll band from Ontario, California consisting of Jimmy Ganzer on vocals and rhythm guitar, Joe Carrillo on lead guitar and vocals, Drew Barber on bass and vocals, and Charles Weetly on drums.

2. What makes The Fallen Electric unique?

We each have a distinguished taste in music, but we manage to easily come together to produce a familiar yet original sound. The bond we share is the appreciation for the music that we had grown up with and most of that came from the ‘90s and early 2000s. Bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, STP, and the Chili Peppers are ingrained into our overall style so we can’t help writing the way we do when we have so much great inspiration from an amazing period in rock and roll. We like to embrace each other’s individuality to see where the songwriting process takes us and we’re often pleasantly surprised by the outcome. It’s always a fun level of excitement as we come up with new material, and it’s most exciting when we get to watch our fans dance along with us.

3. When you get back into the full swing of things with live music, what can people expect to hear?

We’ve been waiting anxiously for the world to open back up for over a year. During that time, we’ve been writing new songs and tightening up existing material. The quarantine was a whole new and weird experience for everyone and we welcomed the way it impacted our songwriting. There is going to be a lot of exciting, new music coming from a lot of bands this year and we’re absolutely one of them. We have a few more singles in the works that are yet to be released. We just released our single, “Move To The Sound”, and it represents a fresh vibe for us. A lot of classic rock and roll inspired that song and fans often guess correctly what we were blasting on our personal playlists when we wrote it. By the end of the year, we’ll also release another single called “Circles”. There are a lot of stoner metal and progressive rock roots that clashed together to come up with that one and we’re excited to release it. Cheers to new beginnings! We can’t wait!

4. Living or dead, who is one musician’s brain you’d like to pick for one 24 hour period?

Jimmy: I would love to pick Dave Grohl’s brain.

Joe: I’d love to see what went in George Harrison’s head. He was always my favorite Beatle and he wrote some of the most incredible songs.

Drew: I would love to pick Prince’s brain to learn some writing techniques.

Charles: I think Bob Marley would have a lot of interesting points of view about everything.

5. Why should people care about The Fallen Electric?

We write for ourselves, but we rock for the fans! We are the next up-and-coming vibe that needs to be shared and enjoyed. Our music is as equally as appropriate for a party as it is to sit alone and help you go through whatever tough period you may be battling through. In the end, we’re four normal guys, writing real music, with real instruments, and writing lyrics that are very real for us. We welcome everyone to come along on this ride with us. It’s always a party when we take it on stage and we always love it when the dance floor erupts. Don’t miss out!
