Concert Crap: Who are The Future Babes?

The Future Babes: Carson, Ian, McClain, and Andrew. We’re just four dudes trying to have a good time. We shower often (usually) and play loud music.

CC: Since you formed in high school, what has been the best thing to happen to you guys as a band?

TFB: We really enjoyed meeting each other and palling around in high school, but some of our favorite moments include being played on the legendary KROQ (thank you again Rodney Bingenheimer!), performing for thousands in Las Vegas, and opening for one of our favorite bands, Collective Soul, in Atlanta!

CC: What has been your highlight of 2016?

TFB: We love to be in the studio working on music. We are currently tracking our full length release which has been a blast but this year our KROQ airtime (and radio play around the US and as far as Japan!) and opening for Collective Soul have definitely been momentous highlights for us.

CC: Why should people give The Future Babes a chance?

TFB: We believe there’s something in our album for everybody but you have to hear it to believe it. We are friends before we are band members but as a band we put everything we have into our songs and shows. Our debut EP is really colorful and definitely sets the stage for the upcoming full length release. We would definitely recommend checking out the EP available on Apple Music/iTunes and Spotify!

CC: What is the best thing about growing your music in Atlanta, Georgia?

TFB: Sitting in traffic. Actually though, Atlanta is a great city to immerse yourself in music. We have discovered and met too many incredible musicians to list here but we love our city and see it as a great place to build our music from.

CC: Who would you like to tour with in the future?

TFB: We’d be great opening for Arctic Monkeys or Cage the Elephant. Awesome as well would be The Strokes, Manchester Orchestra, or Collective Soul. Does Led Zeppelin still tour?

CC: What does the rest of 2016 have in store for you guys?

TFB: Our current focus is recording our upcoming album. We will also be performing in Atlanta and around the Southeast, including at the Nick in Birmingham on October 28th, at King of Pops Field Day in Atlanta on November 6th, and at the Vinyl in Atlanta on November 11th.

CC: Are there any final thoughts you’d like to express or anything you’d like to say to your fans?

TFB: We love you! We couldn’t be doing this without y’all. The best way to stay posted is by following us on instagram, twitter, or facebook. Our new video for “Cold Blooded” is easily accessible through the link in bio on all of these pages!
