Song Review: Modern Chemistry – “Everything in Gold”

Modern Chemistry’s “Everything In Gold” builds very slowly. The beginning of the song starts off chill and quiet, with little water droplet sounds in the background. It almost sounds hazy, like something you’d hear in a dream or when you’re half asleep. Then the song starts to build and the little hairs on the back of your neck start to stand up. Then when it hits, it’s just pure headbanging goodness. It wakes you up and makes you feel almost renewed. “Everything in Gold” a great song and foreshadows what is sure to be a great album from Modern Chemistry.
