As we inch closer to the album Planet Zero, Shinedown has released a new single titled “Daylight”. “Daylight” has been performed by the band on their Revolution Live Tour earlier this year and it is now available as a single on all major streaming platforms.
“Daylight” is a ballad driven song that strays from the heavier tracks that were released prior such as “Planet Zero” and “The Saints Of Violence and Innuendo”. Zach Myers stated via his Instagram post “On March 24 2021 we wrote “Daylight” When we finished listening back to the demo…..I told everyone “I want you to remember where we are when I tell you … this is maybe the most important song we’ve ever written .. and how much it’s going to help people”
I stand by that a year and some change later ……
I hope this reminds you of someone or something that has helped you …. Not only through the last 2 years. But anytime

“Daylight” is available now on all major streaming platforms. The album Planet Zero will be available worldwide on July 1st.
