Review | Photos: Drowning Pool Headlines Show at Whisky A Go Go

Who: Drowning Pool

Where: Whisky A Go Go, West Hollywood, CA

When: April 5, 2022

Drowning Pool played on the sunset strip with Ill Nino. It was a luminous night for the American rock band as the crowd mustered around the venue. Everyone was hyped to get in and up close to the stage. The bright light shone down on the empty platform as we awaited shortly for the opening act. Ill Nino’s set kicked off the party of the evening.

Drowning Pool hit the stage with an intro before they played “Sinner.” The crowd were merciless, their energy was the lifeline to show. Nobody had their phones out for a long period of time, it was old school fun. The band was interactive with the fans and media during each track they performed. It felt like a family reunion, we all embraced one another.

“Bodies” was the last song of the night and everyone in the building went berserk. It was a stupendous way to end the show with their hit. Drowning Pool’s performance was stellar, definitely will be seeing these guys live again!

Setlist:

SINNER
