Who:Worlds Apart Tour – Make Them Suffer, Enterprise Earth, Spite

Make Them Suffer returned to the Palladium for their headliner Worlds Apart world tour. The July 27 stop was the second date on the tour which will take them across North America, Europe, and Australia.
The night got off to a bumpy start. Doors were supposed to be at 6 and got pushed back to 7, so there were a bunch of people who were waiting in line for an hour because they expected doors to be earlier. The first local opener went on very soon after doors opened.
The first two bands up were both local openers, Grip of Misfortune and The Worst Of Us. Both bands had great energy and got the crowd pumped and ready. The first band on the tour to perform was Spite and they were amazing. A good portion of the crowd was wearing Spite shirts and it was obvious that they had come specifically for this band. There were plenty of moshers and even several people who got up on stage and sang a few lines. They actually ended up being my favorite band of the night and I would definitely go see them again.
Enterprise Earth was up after Spite. Spite was not an easy act to follow, but they had great energy as well and continued to pump up the crowd; they were a really fun band and left their mark on everyone in the audience. My favorite part of the set was toward the end, when the two guitar players switched sides for a little bit. The stage at the Palladium Upstairs is pretty small, so it was great to see them use the stage as much as they could. By the time their set was over, the crowd was ready for Make Them Suffer.
I got to see Make Them Suffer when they opened for Architects a few months ago and have been a fan since so I was really excited to see their headliner, which did not disappoint at all. The audience loved them and were very responsive to their entire set. They had great energy from beginning to end and even people all the way in the back on the balcony were enjoying the show just as much as the ones right up on the stage. Plus, I got to see “Fireworks” and “Vortex” live, which made my night.
Overall, the Make Them Suffer headliner was a great show and a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to the next time all of these bands come my way again, I’ll definitely go see them again.
