The day is finally here. You have your tickets to a concert and are about to arrive at the venue when suddenly, you have to pay an overpriced fee just to park.
If you’re lucky, you’ll find parking for cheap, maybe even free. But some places are unforgiving and have astronomical prices that you cannot avoid.
Here is a list of various Southern California music venues and dealing with their parking.
Note: This is all general parking. VIP parking will always cost you an arm and a leg.
The parking here is always free. The parking lot is very small and as long as you get there early enough, you will always have a spot mere feet from the front of the venue. No long walks necessary.

Big lot for a big venue. There is only one entrance which is used as an exit after the show. Park close to the exit for a quick exit.

Leaving Downtown Disney can be a long walk from the HOB to your car, but just have your ticket or wristband ready to tell the ticket taker you went for a show and they’ll just wave you on by with no fee.

You’ll never be charged for parking here. But keep in mind that there are only two exits for the largest outdoor venue in America. Even if you arrive early, park close to an exit to get home much faster. If you park close to the entrance of the venue doors, you’ll spend hours in the parking lot trying to leave.

Glass House/Fox Theater Pomona
Parking around the Old Towne Pomona area before a show used to be free, but now, you have to pay the small sum of $1. Just make sure you go to the parking pass box and pay for it yourself with the correct space number.

Good, close parking for these venues is going to cost you.

Parking in the Honda Center parking lot is $20. Everywhere else around is usually $10 and under. Park farther for less money so you can buy yourself an extra drink. You’ll walk it off on the way back.

Park in the residential Beverly Hills to avoid expensive LA parking.

It’s LA. The closer to the venue you park, the more you will pay. Walk an extra block to save a couple of extra bucks.

The parking garage on the same block of the venue is expensive. There is another garage on the next street over going east and half the price of the closer parking.

Stacked parking that is very expensive. If you’re lucky enough, the cars in front of you will leave space open for you to exit.

Park more than a mile away in a residential neighborhood to save $20 on parking. That’s the only way to avoid it.

There is no way to avoid one of the most expensive places for parking at a venue in Southern California. It’s better to get dropped off.
