Canadian rapper NAV boasts an impressive list of both collaborators and friends: The Weeknd, Meek Mill, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Metro Boomin’, Playboi Carti, Offset, Quavo, French Montana and many others. He signed to The Weeknd’s record label, XO, in 2016 — shortly after he co-produced Drake’s single “Back to Back” in 2015.

His most recent album, Demons Protected By Angels, was the #2 most streamed hip hop album in 2022, just behind Kendrick Lamar. NAV’s latest single, “Double Faces,” features Money Musik as well as SoFaygo — who was tapped to open on the Never Sleep Tour along with RealestK. NAV wrapped up the tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday night after a four year pause due to the pandemic — with some very heavy anticipation from his fans.

Kicking off with the tour-titled track, “Never Sleep,” NAV sent the crowd into a roar. The walls rumbled as the audience bounced with elation and perfectly on beat. The energy shared between NAV and his fans was genuinely magical — everyone screamed every word as their faces beamed with happiness and thrill. The setlist was well-balanced with tracks spread across each album as well as three covers: Travis Scott, Internet Money and Mustard. Ambient lighting against an ever-changing LED backdrop accompanied by cryo visual effects added an extra pop to the atmosphere. Though the venue was packed wall to wall, the show still felt intimate as NAV maintained a seamless connection with the crowd for the duration of his performance.

Though the tour has finished, we hope NAV will hit the road again soon. Fans in Toronto can catch his show on April 11th — until then, keep an eye out for further tour dates by checking here. You can keep up with NAV on Twitter and Instagram for the latest. Check out photos from the show and let us know if you’ve seen NAV live before!
