FRENSHIP Kicks Off Their ‘Base Camp’ Tour in North Carolina!

It’s been a few years since duo FRENSHIP went out on a big headline tour, but for the first time in four years they embarked on a country wide tour, with the first night happening right here in North Carolina! Fans lined up around the building waiting for doors to open for this sold-out show, and there were excited faced all around waiting for the show to start!

Singer Bizzy opened up the show, and right off the bat she was a bundle of energy! She jumped all across the stage, encouraging the audience to dance with her to loosen up. She mentioned how this was her first ever tour, and she was just as excited to be here as the crowd was to have her! She even had several of her own fans in the crowd, excitedly singing along to every word of her music.

The crowd loved “I Don’t Get Breakups“, and especially went crazy during her cover of “Sugar We’re Going Down” by Fall Out Boy! She ended her set with the first song she ever released, “Anybody“, and had many people in the crowd singing along with her. She was the perfect opener, with high energy and good spirits, she got the crowd raring to go!

And it was now time for the act everyone was waiting for! FRENSHIP hit the stage to chants of the band’s name and went right into their song “GOODMORNING, Goodbye“. Everyone in the venue was singing along right away, swaying to the music. They remarked to the crowd how they recently realized it had been 10 years since they started putting out music, so they played one of their first ever songs, “Nowhere” in recognition of that! And going from one of their oldest songs straight into one of their newest ones, “Lover or an Enemy“, the crowd was just as excited for both!

Like other tours which experience some kinks within the first show, they worked them all out and still entertained the audience! Their two-man show was quite the spectacle to watch, as they shifted from guitars, to bass, to synth, keyboards, and electric drums. And the crowd loved how personable and open the band was with them; it really made the show feel more intimate that way!

They even showcased a couple brand new songs that weren’t out yet, teasing a brand-new EP coming out within the next week! Naturally, the crowd was very excited to hear these new songs before anyone else as they bopped along to the music. When FRENSHIP performed one of their hits “Capsize“, the crowd went nuts, singing along even louder than the band and jumping all across the venue. As they closed out the night with “1000 Nights” and “Anywhere But Here“, they ended out a great show on a high note!
