Felicity Releases Latest Single Levitate

Orlando trash-rock band Felicity recently released their latest song “Levitate”. This is the first in a series of eight singles coming out over the next year. The band is comprised of Andrew Rapier (guitar), Cory Nicholas (guitar), Damien Fagiolino (vocals), Mike Alosa (bass) and Rashid Williams (drums). This is Felicity’s first single with Williams.

Felicity is known for their wild live performances which I have had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand. However, this craziness extends beyond their live performances. They are also known to share crazy videos on their TikTok and Instagram pages. Unsolicited performances in malls and selling their own merchandise at Lowes are just a couple of their stunts which have added to their growing list of store bans.

Levitate is the band’s first new music since 2021’s Dear Universe. “’Levitate’ is about being so infatuated with a person that you forget who you are,” vocalist Damien Fagiolino explains. “They’ve got you so high on whatever it is they do that you’re drifting off into another galaxy. You want to do everything for them and lose yourself in the ecstasy they provide.”

“We’re never had a song you could outright dance to,” guitarist Andrew Rapier adds. “In the past, it’s always been stuff you want to mosh or headbang or circle pit to, but I feel like ‘Levitate’ is a song we could show to different generations of our family and have them all enjoy it.”
