Emo Icons Paramore to Hit the Stage in Bakersfield This Fall

Legendary mid-2000s emo rockers Paramore are set to kick off their “surprise” tour this fall in Bakersfield. The trio will be playing Mechanics Bank Arena on October 4th. Fans have been highly anticipating a “reunion” announcement from the band for many years now. While the band never went on an official hiatus, there was significant downtime that left fans eager to hear updates on the band’s status. Paramore’s debut album was released almost in 2005 — they have since recorded four other studio albums. The band has toured the world as well as co-headlined with top tier pop-punk bands like Fall Out Boy and New Found Glory.

The tour includes a handful of festival dates including Austin City Limits (TX), When We Were Young (NV) and Corona Capital Festival (MEX). No supporting acts have been announced as of now; however, lucky fans in Bonner Springs, Kansas will get to see Young the Giant and Japanese Breakfast along with Paramore.
