American Celtic Punk band, Dropkick Murphys, are hitting the road in March with their St Patrick’s Day 2023 Tour. The quick 14-date tour starts in Charlotte, NC on March 1 and concludes with 4 shows in Boston, MA on March 16 – 19. This follows several European dates in January and February. Opening acts for most dates are The Rumjacks and Jesse Ahern.
Dropkick Murphys was originally formed in 1996 in Quincy, Massachusetts just outside Boston. They are currently comprised of Ken Casey (lead vocals), Tim Brennan (guitars, tin whistle, accordion, piano, vocals), Jeff DaRosa (guitars, banjo, mandolin, vocals), Matt Kelly (drums, percussion, and vocals), James Lynch (guitars and vocals), Kevin Rheault (bass). During their 27-year career, the band has released 11 studio albums. Their upcoming album, Okemah Rising, is due out on May 12.
