Indie rockers Colony House are concluding their 4th headlining tour across the United States, recently hitting the House of Blues in San Diego along the way on March 30th.

The CANNONBALLERS Tour, in support of their 4th full length album (respectively named The CANNONBALLERS), has been consumed by the masses on every music platform since its release February 3rd, 2023. However, this past Thursday fans in San Diego sang along to new songs like “Landlocked Surf Rock” and “Cannonballers” loud and proud alongside frontman/guitarist Caleb Chapman just the same as older fan favorites “Silhouettes” and “Do You Ever Feel”.

The crowd showed up early and packed the house on the floor all the way to the back bar, as well as the entire balcony level. Drummer (and brother to frontman Caleb Chapman) Will was raised high on a platform underneath a neon sign of a guy doing a cannonball for what made an iconic stage presence for the entire band. Having Will on that large riser gave so much space for Scott Mills on guitar and Park Cottrell on bass guitar to roam and own the stage. During their new song “Would Ya Could Ya”, Caleb took audience involvement to the next level when he hopped into the pit and sang half the song with the crowd, in the crowd.

Colony House’s new album The Cannonballers is the band’s love letter to their home of Nashville, TN where they have spent the last few years while the world was paused. “We tried to stay away from getting stuck on a theme, but I think being back home for such an extended period of time after traveling so hard for the last ten years informed a lot about this album” frontman Caleb explained.  “We got to see the seasons change and experience our home again for the first time in a long time. I think I was falling back in love with Tennessee, and I started revisiting some old memories and old relationships in my head that pertained to certain geographical locations as well as just emotional places I had spent my most formative years”.
