We aren’t even a week into the new year, but that didn’t stop the team behind Coachella to announce their 2016 lineup. Like past years, the lineup is stacked with artists for numerous genres and this year is no different.
LCD Soundsystem leads the team of Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Jack U, M83, Underworld, The Kills, Foals and more. Guns N’ Roses announced last week they would be playing the festival and are headlining the second day along with Ice Cube, Disclosure, Zedd, A$ap Rocky, CHVRCHES, Halsey, James Bay and more. Day 3 seems to now be a big name rap artist headlining, and this year the honor goes to Calvin Harris, along with: Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, The 1975, Rancid, Miike Snow, and many others.
The first weekend will span April 15-17 and the second weekend April 22-24. Coachella also marks the first big festival for the year and many of these artists will probably play festivals throughout the country and world.
