Music enthusiasts from all parts of Southern California (and some out side the state) came together at The Observatory grounds in Santa Ana, California to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the one of the area’s most iconic venues on the west coast.
Chain Reaction is an all-ages venue located in the city of Anaheim (just a few minutes away from Disneyland.) The venue prides itself as being an all inclusive venue that caters to a variety of independent artists and their fans. This month marked the venue’s 20th year in business and to celebrate, staff and workers wanted to make this celebration special, thus, Chain Fest was born and put into production.
The festival featured many prominent headliners that got their start at Chain Reaction many years ago and those artists included Underoath, Circa Survive, The Story So Far as well as many other bands. In addition, the festival showcased many prominent, up and coming independent artists such as Turnover, Between California and Summer, Tigers Jaw and so many more.
The festival utilized The Observatory, the Constellation Room and the Observatory Grounds as three independently ran stages to showcase all the artists
The festival lasted the entire day of Saturday and many concert goers had “the best day ever.”
The day concluded with an afterparty inside The Observatory hosted by the crew at Emo Night LA.
Overall, the day went exceptionally well and it was a memorable festival that will be talked about for years to come.
