Unbroken is an album that will take you right to the edge of insanity, leave you dangling there until you feel you’re starting to fall, and then pull you back just in the nick of time. In simple words, this album is crazy, but A Killer’s Confession really pulls it off.
A Killer’s Confession is a band fronted by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis and Unbroken is the band’s debut release. This album is heavy and dark; it resonates deep inside your soul. The more you listen, the more you feel like you’re falling down the rabbit hole into this world where all of your worst phobias are laid bare in front of you. “A Killer’s Confession,” featuring Brian “Head” Welch, really sucks you into the world that this album creates. “Final Breath,” “Sympathy” featuring Kimberly Freeman of ONE EYED DOLL, and “I Will Define” with Dead By Wednesday are some more examples of singles on this album that draw you in and keep you listening.
Unbroken is not just an album of loud noises; every single member of A Killer’ Confession is extremely talented, so the album is very melodically sound and everything works. This album also features some of the best musicians out there: Brian Head Welch, Kimberly Freeman, Dead By Wednesday, Revillusion, Amerakin Overdose, and HEX. A Killer’s Confession has a great debut album on their hands with Unbroken.
