Who: “The Farewell Tour” – Yellowcard
Where: The NOVO DTLA, Los Angeles, California
When: October 18, 2016
–
Yellowcard has been one of the most innovative punk bands for the past 20 years, however, the band recently decided to close this chapter in their lives.
The band embarked on one last tour to thank their fans for so many years of dedication and support. The band decided to play their album “Ocean Avenue” in full on this tour as well to make it extra special for their fans.
The tour recently made a stop to the Downtown Los Angeles venue The Novo. At this stop of the tour, the band played a very intimate and emotional set.
The crowd sang the lyrics for each song word for word in perfect harmony.
It was not only the best way to send a Tuesday night, but also the best way for Los Angeles to say good-bye to a band that has given the independent music community so much over so many years.
