Electro-pop trio AJR has just kicked off their OK ORCHESTRA Tour. Hitting many cities all across the continental US this month and all over 2022, this is shaping up to be a tour you’ll definitely want to see!
They’ve captivated the music scene over the past several years, skyrocketing into stardom and becoming a household name as each new album peaks higher, and plenty of their singles gaining radio time, surely getting stuck in everyone’s heads! Such hits include ‘I’m Ready’, ‘Sober Up’, and ‘Bang!’; the last charting at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and winning Top Rock Song at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. With their latest album OK ORCHESTRA having been released this year, the band seems eager to debut these songs live, with fans being just as excited for AJR’s return to live music!
In a tour trailer recently posted to social media, they describe their creative process behind their shows: wanting to combine “a broadway show, a movie, a magic show, and a concert into one weird experience.” Promising this tour to be “the biggest… newest… thing you’ve ever seen” with a sneak peak of what to expect, this is a tour you won’t want to miss! And if you’ve seen anything these brothers have brought to the table before, you know they’ll deliver on that promise!
On the first leg of the tour they’ll be joined with Daisy The Great at all the 2021 shows and Sasha Alex Sloan for a handful of the earlier dates. The openers for the 2022 dates have yet to be announced.
