Concert Crap: Can you talk about a brief history of the band?
Victor: Sure! FERO LUX was started in 1980. Pioneering the hair metal sub-genre. Playing every dive bar in LA we could, we weren’t going anywhere substantial. So we turned to the needle… We got clean and and 36 years later, here we are!
CC: What does your band name mean?
V: “Ghost Butt” in Spanish.
CC: Who are some of your musical inspirations?
V: TDEP, Weezer, Kendrick Lamar, Thursday, At The Drive-In, Glassjaw, Big L, Smashing Pumpkins
CC: What does the rest of 2016 have in store for you guys?
V: We’re touring a lot in November and December, as well as finishing the writing process for something we’ll most likely be putting out next year.
CC: Is there anything else you’d like to say to your fans or anyone that may be reading this interview at all?
V: Fans?! We have fans?!
Umm…thanks so much for the support! We can’t thank you enough. We know there are some people who have been around since the start of this band and it means so much to us. For those of you who don’t really know who we are, check us out at:
And check us out on iTunes, Youtube, Google Play, Spotify, and wherever the hell else!
Thanks again!
