Concert Crap: Can you talk about a brief history of the band?
Ian Carvalho: The Ian Carvalho Project is my solo work, I played the drums in the band called NOVONADA for eight years and when me and the other members decided to take a break from it I started working on this new project.
CC: Who are some of your musical inspirations?
IC: The Mars Volta, Joy Division, De Andrè, and Mamonas Assassinas.
CC: Who would you like to tour with realistically and un realistically?
IC: At the Drive in
CC: What does the rest of 2016 have in store for you guys?
IC: I’m organizing a tour in South America for next year and getting ready for the gigs that are coming up shortly, next one is the 12th of November at the Finsbury (http://www.thefinsbury.co.uk), so if you’re around, come over!
CC: Is there anything else you’d like to say to your fans or anyone that may be reading this interview at all?
