Concert Crap: What has been the highlight of your summer?

Adam Simons: I think the highlight really has been releasing my first two singles and music videos, and seeing the reaction to them from people. It’s amazing to have so many people listening this early on in my career. Also, I was able to travel quite a bit this summer, which was amazing.

CC: Who are some of your musical inspirations?

AS: I have so many. From John Mayer and The 1975 to Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, and Michael Jackson. I play all types of music, and try to combine genres I love with my songs.

CC: What are some of the best comments or responses you’ve received from old or new fans online about your music?

AS: Seeing people put the songs in their playlists on Spotify is awesome, because I do the exact same thing with artists I love. All the comments and shares are also so amazing to see. To have hundreds of thousands of streams of my songs already is really crazy! I’m just getting started.

CC: What is the best thing about the Arizona music scene?

AS: I think that there are a lot of great bands doing it now, and that in itself is an inspiration. I also love the people that come to my shows and support local artists.

CC: What does the rest of 2016 have in store for Wanderer?

AS: I have a debut EP that I just finished recording, which will be out later this year. I’m also starting to play live shows and look at tours!

CC: Besides your band name, what would Wanderer’s hashtag be?

AS: #TeamWanderer is my amazing collective of fans and friends that help me promote my music. Aside from that, I would say #onlyinthenight is a good one

CC: Is there anything else you would like to say to your fans or anyone else reading this interview?

AS: Thank you for all your support thus far! If you haven’t yet heard my music, you can check it out on Spotify, Apple Music, and most other places online!

Stay tuned for more.
