To Write Love on Her Arms launches Project Cozy

To honor World Mental Health Day, mental health non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) in partnership with the Corporate eSports Association (CEA), unveils Project Cozy, a community-driven gaming challenge with a mission to provide a fun and engaging experience while raising awareness, crucial funds, and spreading hope to the gaming community.

Project Cozy unites gaming hobbyists and esports pros alike in a shared purpose: to transform the world of gaming into a beacon of mental health support, compassion, and community.

Challenge Details:

TWLOHA invites participants to share a picture or video of their “cozy place.” This could be your meticulously crafted Minecraft hub, the tranquil village in Stardew Valley, your rustic Valheim abode, or even your real-world gaming or streaming setup. Your cozy place symbolizes safety and comfort—a sanctuary where you can be yourself. The challenge is now open, and last submissions will be received through October 23. Top entries in each category will receive a prize bundle from TWLOHA and have their chance to be featured in our “Mental Health isn’t Scary” winner’s broadcast on Halloween.

OUR MISSION:

Awareness: Project Cozy is a virtual challenge platform to amplify the conversation around mental health within the gaming community.

Empowering Change: Your participation isn’t just about gaming; it’s about making a difference. Every contribution fuels TWLOHA’s mission to provide hope and help to those struggling with mental health challenges.

Providing Hope: TWLOHA is here to remind every player that mental health is not a solo journey—it’s a collective experience.

THE CHALLENGE EXPERIENCE:

Learning Opportunities: As part of this initiative, TWLOHA and CEA will host a series of continuing education discussions via social media and Discord, delving into crucial topics like stress management, suicide prevention, and comprehensive mental health awareness.

Your Call to Action:

Share the news of Project Cozy with your community, fundraise for a great cause, and build meaningful virtual community along the way.
