Make sure you get there in time for the opener. That’s what they say around here in Madison, Wisconsin. Those were definitely good words to live by the last time that ’68 was in town when they were opening for Avatar. I missed most of their set the previous time they were in town, so I knew that I needed to get there early this time. I’m glad I was there this time because ’68 put on one hell of an energetic show. For a duo, they do an incredible job of commanding the stage and getting all eyes on them. I was shooting that night and knew that I needed to be on my toes for their entire set so I wouldn’t miss any of Josh Scogin’s crazy antics.
Where am I going with all of this you might ask? Well as luck would have it, ’68 has decided to play their first show in over a year and a half right here in Madison on July 30th. This time as headliners. I’m going to be there to make sure I don’t miss a second of what I’m sure is going to be a wild show. Until then, here are a few photos from the last time they were in town to hold you over until they make their return.
