First reaction to this song? What the hell is this and why am I listening to this weird song about a bird? Second reaction? Hey, that chorus is catchy, nananana. Third reaction? I found a little biiiiirrrddddd!
So this might be one of those songs that needs to grow on you, but there’s nothing wrong with that. This is also one of those songs that no matter how hard I try, I really cannot figure out the meaning of the lyrics, which is really refreshing actually. It has kind of a British rock mixed with a classic California sound. The guitar is great, the chorus is fun to sing along with, and it is definitely unique. Overall? Weird works.
