Music acts as an escape for a lot of people, it gives you somewhere to go when stuff becomes tough. For some people however, music serves as a way to also release pent up emotion and that’s what is does for singer/songwriter Lynn. In March, Lynn released the second single from her upcoming EP. The song is called “Rise High”.
The track begins with a quiet clap track in the background with an acoustic guitar in the forefront. Lynn comes in with a soft manner and the song slowly starts to pick up speed. She demonstrates in the chorus that she’s versatile when it comes to singing and shows off the power in her voice. The song repeats itself and then it ends.
I’m looking forward to the EP that Lynn has coming out soon because I would love to hear more. “Rise High” is a nice little peek at what’s to come and I cannot wait!
