Smallpools on the “Connect The Dots” Tour with Misterwives

LA based band Smallpools has brought a refreshing sound to the indie pop scene that listeners didn’t even know they were missing.

Having formed in 2013, the band has only been on the rise since. Their breakout hit, “Dreaming” caught the attention of many, and was featured on the FIFA 14 soundtrack, as well as on the show, The Vampire Diaries. After releasing their debut album LOVETAP! in 2015, Smallpools went on to headline two national tours and even performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

They released their newest EP, THE SCIENCE OF LETTING GO, earlier in August.  In an interview with Baeble music, vocalist Sean Scanlon discussed some of the reasoning behind the songs and title of the EP. He states that “there’s a song that has to do with needing to let go of something that’s obviously bad for you, but you keep trying to make it work. There are songs about letting go of inhibitions in order to move forward in your career. It (the EP title) just kind of landed that way, but I like the title and it was in a line of one of the songs as well, so I think it came together nicely.”

Watch the intruiging music video for their catchy single, “Million Bucks“.

The band has toured with artists such as Twenty One Pilots and Two Door Cinema Club, and will now be supporting MisterWives along with Vinyl Theatre on the Connect The Dots Tour. The tour starts this month, and consists of a lineup that is sure to provide good times and good vibes. You do not want to miss out.
