Photos / Review : Dreamers did not, will not disappoint in Los Angeles

Who: Dreamers

Where: Teragram Ballroom, Los Angeles, California

When: June 13, 2017

You know the saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover?” Same goes with bands and artists: “don’t judge a band by its name.”

When I first heard of the band Dreamers, I did not think I would enjoy their set from the impression I got from their name, but they proved me wrong on a Tuesday night at the Teregram Ballroom in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles natives create one of those bands that you would want to see live at least once to experience the kind of atmosphere they create with their contagious, cosmic sound. It was heartbreaking how fast their set seemed to go by — from dancing in the crowd to their pure passion exuding on stage when they performed songs like “Pain Killer” and “Drugs.”

After seeing them live, I will think twice before quickly judging a new artist or band. Let Dreamers blow your mind this fall on their tour with The Maine and Night Riot.
