Who: The Last Minute Magic Tour, Tigers Jaw
Where: The Glass House, Pomona, CA
When: March 12th, 2022
Tonight marked the end of a tour that was long overdue. December of 2019 was the last time that Tigers Jaw had last toured due to the pandemic. They released I Won’t Care How You Remember Me in March of 2021 and had yet to tour for it. They were prepared to go on their first tour of the pandemic in January of this year and it was canceled due to covid. On the initial tour they planned a stand alone show on January 27th with Seahaven in Pomona, CA at the Glass House that was also canceled.
Fast forward to February 8th, of 2022, Tigers Jaw announced the Last Minute Magic Tour that would now end with two shows at the Glass House. Seahaven would be the only supporting act for both nights on March 11th, and 12th.
The final night of the show was live streamed on March 12 and from the moment Tigers Jaw took the stage they made every minute magical. They opened with “I Won’t Care How You Remember Me” and played a great mix of new and old songs, including “Daniel Son” which is very rare to hear these days. They had the stage for over an hour and made the set fun throughout. The crowds energy only continued to increase as the band played hit after hit. They ended their set with “Plane vs Tank vs Submarine” with the crowd singing every word, happy that Tigers Jaw is touring once again.
