Keep Flying just dropped their new single and video for “Firesale (Revisited)“. The 5-piece punk band from the Northeastern United States previously released the song on their 2020 Survival album. Whereas the original (listen here) was more punk with aggressive vocals and up-tempo electric guitars, the new version is mellower with tamer vocals and a more pronounced brass section.
The band shares: “This is our take on ‘Firesale’ off of Survival played in a softer, more raw way. We brought in the cello, piano, and acoustic guitars for this one hoping to leave the listener with a clear way to hear the lyrics and potentially relate. John Mayer is the influence here.”
