The Observatory North Park of San Diego, CA was filled on April 17 thanks to Jaden Hossler, more famously known as Jxdn. His I Hope This Never Ends Tour had an excellent 36 stop run through all of North America concluding in Santa Ana the following day. Joining the singing songwriting Tik Tok star on this spring tour was Beauty School Dropout, an LA based self-proclaimed “renegade-pop” group.

When Beauty School Dropout took the stage, the foursome wasted no time in getting it going. The band exploded into their opening song and the audience was captivated. The stage presence between Cole Hutzler (vocals), Bardo (guitar), Brent Burnett (bass), and Mike Rose (drums) each carry their own excitement but form together as one beautifully chaotic entity. BSD treated the audience to songs off their debut album We Made Plans & God Laughed in addition to unreleased music and finally an epic cover of Taylor Swifts “Love Story”.

Jxdn took the stage promptly at 9 PM and opened with his latest single “Friends with Benefits”. San Diego didn’t miss a beat and sang right alongside the Tennessee star all night long through his popular hits from the 2021 debut album Tell Me About Tomorrow and with the new tunes. We were also delightfully surprised to get covers of Coldplays “Yellow” and The Weeknd’s “The Hills”.

Jxdn’s I Hope This Never Ends tour may be over for now, but you definitely want to keep Beauty School Dropout and Jxdn on your radar for your summer live music plans! These guys put on a show that just simply can’t miss out on! Follow Jxdn and Beauty School Dropout for updates on upcoming live shows and new releases!
