Here Come The Mummies Tour

The are some unique and unusual bands out there, however none more than Here Come The Mummies. The funk band from Nashville has recorded several albums since the band’s formation in 2000 but are known more for their live performances. Similar to bands like The Residents, the group keeps their identities hidden. Their costumes consist of tattered garbs like Egyptian mummies. According to their website “Some say they are reincarnated Grammy winning studio musicians, some say their internal organs still lay in clay pots back in Egypt.”

Here Come The Mummies are currently touring the US through December 2021. A live show from the band consists of a funk performance straight out of the 70s and ‘80s. The ten-piece band complete with a large brass section is sure to get the crowd dancing. If your city appears on the list of upcoming dates, then get out and check out the band, especially with the Halloween season approaching.
