Rock the South 2021 is scheduled to take place on Aug 13 & 14 in Cullman, Alabama. After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the biggest party in the south is back for the 9th time. This year’s headliners include Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Fifteen musical performers will take to a single stage over the two days.
The festival started in 2012 to celebrate the recovery of a devastating tornado that destroyed 867 and 94 businesses in Cullman. Kellie Pickler, Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi and Brent Cobb performed the first year before a crowd of 11,000 people. The festival has grown throughout the years with artists like Little Big Town, Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Bryan taking the stage. This year’s crowd is expected to top 60,000.
Over the years, Rock the South has given back over $639,000 to the community through organizations such as Cullman City Parks and Recreation, The Link of Cullman County and Cullman Caring for Kids. The event couldn’t take place without corporate partners. This years partners include Pepsi, Mitch Smith Chevrolet, Bud Light, R.E. Garrison Trucking, Regions, JohnsonRVCenter.com, Tuplelo.net, and Durty Gurl Cocktail Mixers.
Camping and RV Parking are available for those wanting to stay close to the grounds. There will be over 25 food and beverage vendors with plenty of options including barbeque, Greek, and hamburgers. The stage will be bigger this year with huge LED screens on both sides of the stage so everyone will be able to enjoy the show.
Two-day tickets prices for the event are General Admission: $129.99, Platinum: $199.99, VIP: $369.99 and can be purchased here.
