Fall/Winter Tours We Are Amped for as the Music Industry Finally Begins to Recuperate

It’s been a long year and a half for all of us in a multitude of ways. As we transition back to everyday life, we begin to remember one thing we truly missed most: live music. It is hard to believe that we went without live music for so long. I remember thinking at the beginning of 2021, I would die to experience a concert right now, even if I didn’t know the artist or songs. I didn’t care if I couldn’t sing along. I just was itching for that energy and to feel united with the entire room again. I can confidently say I speak for so many of us when I say it is thrilling to be getting back into the live music scene again.

While daily life basically came to a halt, some of our favorite artists channeled their spirit into creating new music. Some artists came back from hiatus. Other artists explored side projects and cooked up soon-to-be-released studio masterpieces. Now that tours have officially been announced (and some already kicking off), we are on the edge of our seats grasping onto all of these shows as they come. All genres of music are now back on tour — or making plans to — so whatever you are into, there’s a ticket anxiously awaiting to be scooped up by a devout fan. Be sure to check up on some of your old faves… they may have made some pandemic-induced new music and headed to a city near you!

New Found Glory, Less Than Jake, LØLØ

Pop punk kids, it’s our time! New Found Glory are back with Less Than Jake and LØLØ. The tour has been rescheduled twice since 2019 and originally had been a double-headling lineup with Simple Plan. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Simple Plan was forced to drop off the tour abruptly last month. Luckily, they’ve been replaced with a band that is an equally fun time onstage: Less Than Jake. Newcomer solo artist LØLØ will be supporting the entire tour which kicked off August 31st, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. The tour will make its way across the country and end October 16th and 17th with a two-night hometown finale in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Tickets and VIP upgrades are available here.

Poppy

With each new album, we seem to get a reincarnated version of Poppy… we live for this. There is nothing like watching an artist evolve and rebirth. Her newest album, Flux, is due out September 24th accompanied by the FLUXTOUR. We anticipate her new sound to be 90s underground grunge blended with some melodic rock based upon some of the new material she has recently released. The tour will run from September 30th through November 26th and cover dates in the states as well as Canada. Supporting acts have not yet been announced. Tickets and VIP upgrades are available here.

Glass Animals, Binki

With a big nudge from TikTok, “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals has soared the charts this past year and been on constant rotation on both satellite and traditional radio. You can catch one the year’s hottest songs live at the Dreamland Tour, which recently kicked off August 30th. The tour will run through March, with a few breaks in between. Rescheduled Europe and UK dates are now set for May 2022. Supporting the tour will be indie-funk-pop artist Binki. Tickets are available here.

Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, Annika Bennett

You may recognize Andrew from his founding band, Something Corporate, or side project, Jack’s Mannequin. Andrew has now been performing as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness since 2014 when the first album debuted. Despite the new endeavor, Andrew still plays songs from both past bands, always sending the crowd off the deep end — especially if “Konstantine” makes the setlist. The tour begins September 26th and will wrap December 2nd. Indie rock artist and songwriter Annika Bennett will be the supporting act. Tickets and VIP upgrades are available here.

Kat Von D,  PRAYERS

With only four shows confirmed, Kat Von D and PRAYERS are already causing a stir on the west coast. Kat’s latest album, Love Made Me Do it, is full of synthwave driven tracks that are sure to throw us into an alternate reality, especially seeing them live. Famed “cholo-goth” duo PRAYERS are set to join her… one of the band members, Rafael Reyes, also just happens to be her husband. Tickets for Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego are available here.

Kacey Musgraves, King Princess, MUNA

Our favorite trippy cowgirl is back! Kacey Musgraves just announced her 2022 North American tour. We cannot get enough of her free spirit and psychedelic country vibes. Accompanied by King Princess and MUNA, the tour celebrates her new album, star-crossed (out September 10th). The stadium tour begins in January 2022 and ends February 20th. Tickets and VIP upgrades are not currently for sale yet, but will be available here in the future. Sign up for Kacey’s mailing list to get a presale code before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Chase Atlantic

OHMAMI” — the newest single from Chase Atlantic — is already proving to be a winner amongst the group’s devoted fanbase. Their new album Beauty In Death has been a huge success and will only ignite the band’s essence further this fall when the Beauty In Death Tour begins October 2nd. The tour starts on the west coast and heads east to wrap up in Canada on November 17th. Tickets and VIP upgrades are available here.

AFI, Cold Cave

We were rewarded with yet another new AFI album earlier this year — as if that wasn’t enough — we get a tour, too! Beginning February 11th, 2022, catch AFI with supporting artists Cold Cave as they trek across the country playing classic hits like “Miss Murder” and other songs from their newest record, Bodies. Tickets are available here.  You can also catch Davey Havok and Jade Puget’s side project, Blaqk Audio, at Cruel World Fest on May 14 and 15th, 2022, in Pasadena, California. The first date is already sold out. Tickets for the second date are available here.

Without a doubt, we are a bit overwhelmed (in the best way) with the huge surge of tour announcements recently. Our favorite artists have been there (via their music) for us through our highs and lows. It’s our turn now to be there to support them and show up. See ya at the show!
