Candlebox is putting the wraps on a storied 30-year career. After releasing seven studio albums, the Seattle rock band known for their hits “Far Behind” and “Cover Me” have released their final album The Long Goodbye via Round Hill Records. The 10-song album was produced by Don Miggs.

“I hope the whole world gets a chance to hear this record and loves it as much as we do; it’s a pretty special record,” shares frontman, songwriter and founding member Kevin Martin.

In addition to the new album, Candlebox will release a 7-LP vinyl box set, entitled The Maverick Years, on Rhino. The set will spotlight the band’s early career with remastered versions of all three albums released on Maverick. Candlebox, Lucy, and Happy Pills will be released as double LP’s. Also included in the box set will be more than a dozen previously unleashed recordings.

Candlebox is also saying goodbye to fans with a farewell tour. Kevin Martin (lead vocals), Adam Kury (bass), Brian Quinn (guitar), Island Styles (guitar), and BJ Kerwin (drums) are currently touring with 3 Doors Down through October with a couple headliner shows thrown in along the way.
