Pop punk/easycore outfit Broadside, just debuted a new music video for their song “The Simple Type,” off the album Old Bones.
The music video features live footage from the 2016 Vans Warped Tour from their sets at the Virginia Beach and Syracuse stops of the summer festival.
“’The Simple Type’ is about living on the edge of your seat,” says vocalist Ollie Baxxter. “I wrote it about my younger brother. He’s very low key and makes decisions based off initial judgement. He’s one of those people that you sit back and ask how he got so lucky to not over analyze a decision, doesn’t fear any person, and still comes out on top. Like the line says, ‘Shoot first, ask questions last!’”
