Some albums just pull you in from the very first note. Strong Enough To Last from Willamena is that kind of album. “As Long As I Can” starts the album off right with this hook that just grabs you and makes you go “WHOA.” The lyrics in this song are beautifully thoughtful and the music works with the lyrics to create a real story. The entire album consists of a meaningful story that is being conveyed to the listener in best way: through music.

“When You Close Your Eyes” has the most addicting chorus; it’s a song you can imagine being performed live in front of an audience singing along at the top of their voices. “Open Up The Stars” is opened with a beautiful little solo on a harmonica, which automatically makes you stop and listen; it’s definitely the top song on the album. What’s great about Strong Enough To Last is that there’s a song for everyone; “Darkest Before The Dawn” will resonate with one person and “Open Up The Stars” will resonate with someone else, but both of them will agree that this is one amazing, game-changing album.

Strong Enough To Last can best be compared to a fine wine: the “older” it gets (the more you listen to it), the better it gets. This album needs to be heard by as many people as possible.
