Album Review: Heathens – “No Masters”

Heathens

On April 1st, Heathens dropped their debut EP, No Masters. First up on the EP is “Anxiety.” The guitar work on this track is pretty impressive. “Scars” was released last year under the name of “Pop Scars.” This new version is different from the original, but it is still fast and catchy. The line “rock and roll means everything to me” is probably my favorite. “Future” is a song that will definitely get stuck in your head. The last- and longest- track on the EP is “Hope.” It starts out slow, but then picks up, with the same beat heard consistently throughout the song. “Hope” fades out after one last note.

Even though this is just a short EP, it’s still a great introduction to Heathens. I can’t wait to see where they go next.

  1. Anxiety
  2. Scars
  3. Future
  4. Hope
