Album Review: Hands Like Houses – ‘Hands Like Houses’

On October 23, Hands Like Houses released their self-titled EP. The EP opens with “The Water,” starting with a fast guitar riff before leading into a chorus perfect for bopping along to. “Space” was released in June, and you can check out its music video here. The chorus is somewhat simple, but it still has a grand sound to it. Another song released as a single, “Dangerous,” came out in September. Its music video can be found here. From the start of the track, it’s super catchy and will get stuck in your head immediately. “Stranger” is a song that, to me, is about changing and becoming somebody new that nobody recognizes, making you into a stranger, but it’s what you want and what’s best for you. Hands Like Houses wraps up with “Wired,” a mellow, almost relaxing song that’s still upbeat. All five of these songs that Hands Like Houses released work well with each other, and they all flow together perfectly. Hands Like Houses is an EP that’s easy to listen to, so you’ll want to keep replaying it over and over again.
