CC: Talk about your brand new music video. Why you chose “Spectral Procession” as the lead single and what people can expect from the video and song?
Spectral Procession shows off a lot of our more adventurous songwriting from this new record. It’s really dynamic and melodic, and still really fuckin heavy. I’m stoked for people to hear it. We shot the video in a basement of a soon to be condemned building. There was all kinda creepy shit down there, it was perfect for the vibe of the song.
CC: When you get back into the full swing of things with live music, what can people expect to hear?
Blastbeats, guttural vocals, and guitar solos have always been mainstays of a Graveslave show, and with this new record we’re adding all sorts of cool new tricks to the bag. Gotta come out and see!
CC: Living or dead, who is one musician’s brain you’d like to pick for one 24 hour period?
Tom Waits, prolly. He’s not metal, but seems like he knows a lot of cool secret information
CC: Why should people care about Graveslave?
Cause our music is dope and we do it all: brutal shit, tech shit, catchy melodic shit, and it all sounds like nobody but us. And on top of that, we’re funny as fuck.
