The Driver Era’s show in Pomona, part of the LA County Fair’s Concert Series, left fans in awe. Having this show as their last planned stop on the road made for some very excited fans who wanted to see what Almost Monday and The Driver Era’s music was all about and get a chance to see them before they take a hiatus.

Almost Monday, San Diego’s very own indie-pop band, stepped on stage and kicked off the show with their hit songs. Some of these included “only wanna dance” and “sunburn,” which had the crowd jumping up and down at the barricade and at their seats. The crowd could barely contain their excitement, of course all they wanted to do was dance. Lead vocalist, Dawson Daugherty, showed the crowd how to have a good time by doing what he does best by dancing around and performing some martial art moves (and kicks) on stage.

Following a phenomenal set by Almost Monday, The Driver Era made their debut on stage for the night. Ross, Rocky, and Riker Lynch made their way on stage following their instrumentalist, Ellington Ratliff and drummer, Dave Briggs. Starting off strong, the boys opened their show with “You Keep Me Up at Night,” which is one of the band’s first official releases from their newest album Obsession, which was fully released early last year in April 2025. Following this, they performed more of their hit songs like “Same Old Story,” “Don’t Walk Away,” and a combination of multiple songs like “Low,” “Nobody Knows,” and even an “I Gotta Feeling” cover by the Black Eyed Peas. Clearly knowing how to get their fans out of their seats and showing them a great time, they continued to interact with their fans by wearing their handmade jewelry, cowboy hats that were tossed on stage, and even Rocky jumping down from the stage and dancing with the crowd at the barricade. One thing about these boys is they know what their fans want and they do everything they can to make them happy and make that show memorable for them. The band definitely left an imprint on their fans and the city of Pomona with the energy they brought and the performance they gave.
