Sex, Occult and Rock & Roll Takes Over Paradise City

Cult series Paradise City is one to sink your teeth into. It is set in Los Angeles, California surrounding the lives of prime rock stars of The Relentless. Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen’s harrowing creation is a follow-up of American Satan. WARNING: If you have yet to see the gruesome masterpiece, you will be confused about the most crucial parts of the show that’s connected with the film.

Lead singer Johnny Faust (Andy Biersack) is released from jail after a fatal altercation on stage. The band’s explosive overnight success was a feast for paparazzi to feed on. They continued to tour sold-out dates around the world without their frontman. We take a glimpse into Johnny’s salvaged relationship with his long-term girlfriend. However, his life turns upside when a groupie, Vivian shows up with a baby proving old habits die hard.

A string of cryptic yet biblical events unfolds as each episode puts viewers on edge. Mr. Capricorn (Brooke Lyons) and Gabriel (Hopsin) lethality duo is bone-chilling and will question your insanity. Temptation occurs when a promising promoter Simon (Cameron Boyce) and his band The Flux enters the scene. The Relentless fan has a colossal voice that shocks their respective veteran band, Over It All which is led by Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe. Will they give into the occult?

The wild ensemble includes real-life rock musicians such as Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce, Juliet Simms, and Sid Wilson of Slipknot. American Satan and Paradise City tangles together in Hollywood’s spider web. The spinoff stands on par with the likes of Queen of the Damned and The Dirt. I highly suggest watching Paradise City by Sumerian Films. It is deliciously wicked, unexpected with a dash of comedic one-liners. You will have one hell of a time!
