PHOTOS & REVIEW: Role Model brings his “Chuck On Tour” to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater

There are some concerts where the weather becomes part of the story, and Role Model’s show at Red Rocks was definitely one of them. It was windy, it was cold, and it was the kind of Colorado night where you immediately regret not bringing one more layer. But once the music started, none of that really mattered.

Who: Chuck on Tour, Samia & Role Model

Where: Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO
When: September 16, 2026

Thousands of fans packed into Red Rocks that night, all there for the same reason: to sing every word, dance until they forgot how cold they were, and see Role Model live. And honestly, the crowd brought just as much energy as the show itself.

Samia kicked off the night with a set that felt like the perfect way to ease into the evening. She brought a completely different energy to the stage, and by the time her set wrapped up, the crowd was more than ready for what was next. You could feel the anticipation building as everyone waited for Role Model to come out.

And when he finally did, the crowd absolutely lost it.

One of my favorite parts of the entire night was just hearing everyone sing. And I mean everyone. It wasn’t only the big songs or the lines everyone recognizes. People knew the words to basically everything. There were moments when Role Model could have just stopped singing altogether and let the crowd take over.

Hearing thousands of people sing the same lyrics back at an artist is one of those things that never really gets old. Somehow, even in a venue as huge and iconic as Red Rocks, it made the whole night feel weirdly personal. You could look around and realize that every person there probably had their own reason for connecting with those songs.

That’s what stood out to me most about the crowd. People weren’t just there because they liked Role Model’s music. They really connected with it. You could feel that in the way everyone sang, danced, reacted to certain songs, and completely lost themselves in the moment. It felt less like watching a concert and more like being part of something everyone in the venue understood.

And, of course, we have to talk about the cold.

The wind at Red Rocks was no joke. As the night went on, the temperature dropped, and you could see everyone trying to stay warm however they could. Jackets came out, people were dancing a little harder, and I’m pretty sure half the crowd was mentally planning their post-concert hot shower.

But somehow, the cold just became part of the experience. Nobody left. Nobody seemed particularly bothered. Everyone just kept singing and having a good time. Looking back, I think it actually made the night more memorable. Years from now, I’m sure people will remember the concert and immediately follow it up with, “Remember how unbelievably cold that was?”

Role Model was incredible, too. His performance had that perfect mix of energy and emotion that kept the crowd completely locked in from start to finish. Add in the Red Rocks backdrop, Samia’s opening set, thousands of fans who somehow knew every single word, a freezing Colorado night, and you had a concert that was hard to forget.

By the end of the night, I think everyone had earned a hot drink, a blanket, and about eight hours of sleep. But somehow, I don’t think anyone would have traded the experience.

Role Model at Red Rocks was cold, chaotic, loud, emotional, and so much fun. The weather definitely tested us, but the crowd was anything but cold.
