French artist Oklou transformed The Warfield on April 17 into a shimmering dreamscape, delivering one of the most transportive pop performances San Francisco has seen this year. Touring behind her acclaimed debut Choke Enough, Oklou brought a rare combination of emotional intimacy and widescreen electronic spectacle, proving why she has become one of the most compelling voices in contemporary pop.

Oklou moved through songs with understated confidence, allowing the music’s intricate textures to bloom in the room. Her vocals were strikingly clear and vulnerable, floating above pulsing bass, glassy synths, and ambient swells that turned The Warfield into something closer to an immersive installation than a traditional concert venue.
